Benetti Yachts launched a 108m giga-yacht
Last week a 108m giga-yacht from Benetti Yachts was launched. The exterior lines were designed by the British architect firm Rwd, with Benetti’s in-house team creating the interior. The 5-bridge giga-yacht has a beam of 14.5 meters, a draft of 4.4 meters and outdoor areas of over 1000 m2. In the streamlined hull it features a cinema, a gym with sauna and a drop-down balcony to fully experience the vast ocean views.
Created with the scope to cruise the oceans for thousands of miles without the need to refuel, FB275 has a fuel tank with a capacity for 345,000 litres, enabling it to achieve a range of 6,500 nautical miles at 14 knots.
It is Benetti’s third ship of 108m and according to Paolo Vitelli, president of the Azimut-Benetti group, giga-yachts will represent a third of their total turnover.
