The Silicon Valley of agriculture was born in Lombardy
Hub Agri 5.0 is an incubator dedicated to new technologies, research and innovation applied to agriculture. This incubator is commissioned by the Lombardy Region and managed, in the form of a foundation, by a group of large companies and associations in the sector: among the founding members are Tim-Olivetti, Bayer, Bonifiche Ferraresi, Alma- viva and Coldiretti. The financial support will be guaranteed by Intesa San Paolo.
The objective is twofold: on the one hand, it aims to develop agricultural technologies 5.0, as the name of the hub itself says. On the other hand, it aims to create a showcase to promote the dissemination of this knowledge among all Lombard farmers.
